The duration of the world

Today, no one knows the duration of this world. Some say it is millions of years old, some say billions and some others say it’s trillions of years old. As a matter of fact, the scientists haven’t even been able to determine the duration of the world until now. The duration of the world isn’t millions of years but 5000 years. And this has been proven. Just like, this Earth keeps rotating, which is why we have day and night, similarly, the duration of this world is 5000 years, which is equal to a kalpa meaning a cycle that rotates continuously. Half of the time in it consists of 2500 years of heaven and the other half is 2500 years of hell; this heaven and hell have been mentioned in every religion.

Brahm Vaivart Puran, section four, 129 golokaarohanama, shloka 50
“Kaleh pancasahastrani varshaani tisht bhuutale. Paapaani paapino yaani tubhyam daasyanti snaanatah.”
It means, God said this while speaking to Ganga: after a period of 5000 years, the earth will be full of sins and sinners. They will bathe in you and give away their sins. But the writers of scriptures wrongly interpreted it and said that the Iron Age is of 5000 years. However, the word ‘Iron Age’ hasn’t been mentioned in the shloka.

The sixth shloka in the 16^th chapter of the Shrimad Bhagvad Gita also proves the same.
Dvau bhuutasargau loke asmin daiva aasura eva ca.
[Meaning:] O ruler of the world! In this world of day and night like happiness and sorrow, there are only two kinds of creations of the creatures: deities (devatas) in the heavenly day and demons (levtas) in the hellish night.
The Muslims call them jannat and dojakh. The Christians call them hell and heaven. Among the Jains, the first three spokes symbolize the Golden and the Silver Age in the form of heaven and the later three spokes symbolize the Copper and the Iron Age hell. Had the duration of the world been millions and billions years, why is the history of only 2500 years available and why haven’t artifacts older than 5000 years been found in excavations? The world famous oldest civilization Mohenjodaro is 4,600 years old. Harappa is 5000 years old. Greece, Mesopotamia existed in 3000 BC. None of them are older than 5000 years.

Harivansh Purana :-
“Tathaa varshasahasran tu varshaanaam dveshate tathaa.Sandhyayaa sahasankhyaatam kruuram kaliyugam smritam.” (2-8-14)
It means, along with an intermission of 200 years, the cruel Iron Age is said to be of 1000 years.

Mahabharata Vanparva :-
“Sahastramekam varshaanaam tatah kaliyugam smritam.
Tasya varshashatam sandhihi sandhyaanshashca tatah param.
Sandhisandhyaashayostulyam pramaanamupadhaaraya.” (188-25, 26)
It means, the duration of the Iron Age is 1000 years, 100 years is the intermission period and another 100 years are said to be the end of the intermission.
“Lokaanaam manujvyaaghra pralayam tam vidurbudhaah.
Alpaavashishte tu tadaa yugaante bharatarshabha.
Sahastraante naraah sarve praayashonrutvaadinah.” (188-29, 30)
It means, after a period of 1000 years, when only a little time is left in the last part of the Iron Age, almost every human becomes deceitful. It is that period which the scholars consider as the time of destruction of the worlds.
All these shlokas are concrete proofs of the Iron Age being 1250 years. All the four ages or the four scenes have an equal duration.

The Christians say: ‘3000 years before Christ was heaven on Earth’.
It means, it is about the beginning of the Golden Age which was complete with 16 celestial degrees, when there was the kingdom of Krishna. This is why, Jesus said: Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name’, the name of God was Krishna.
The Christians also say, there was heaven 3000 years before Christ. (Murli dated: 05.05.1973, page 2, beginning)
This proves that it has been 2000 years since Christ came and heaven began in this world 3000 years before Christ. The total duration of the world is just 5000 years. There is not even a single proof of the duration being millions and billions of years; neither is it available in any religion nor in history. In the time cycle of 5000 years, there are four ages, namely, the Golden Age, the Silver Age, the Copper Age and the Iron Age. And the duration of all the ages is 1250 years. The cycle of this world is called svastika and it is shown in the form of four arms, which is not only found in the Ancient Religion but also in other religions and cultures.
